Grapefruit cocktail with garnish

Grapefruit Riesling Cocktail

This cocktail has a pronounced grapefruit citrus note accentuated by mixing in fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice and pisco to reinforce the floral tones.

Ingredients:

  • 1½ ounces Riesling
  • ¾ ounce grapefruit juice
  • ½ ounce pisco
  • ½ ounce bitter apéritivo
  • 1 dash aromatic bitters
  • ½ ounce simple syrup
  • Grapefruit peel, for garnish
 

Directions:

 

Combine all ingredients in cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake and double strain into coupe glass. Twist grapefruit peel over drink to express oils, then use peel for garnish.
