Ingredients

  • 2 red onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup mayonaise
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 2 tsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp plus 1 tsp finely chopped fresh rosemary, divided
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp granulated sugar
  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cubs baby arugula
  • 1 (12-count) pkg slider buns, split and toasted

 

Directions

Cook onions, covered, in hot oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 5 minutes or until onions are almost tender. Cook, uncovered, 15 minutes or until onions are browned and tender, stirring often. Meanwhile, stir together mayonnaise, cheese, vinegar, 1 tsp rosemary, garlic powder, and sugar in a bowl; season with salt and pepper if desired. Cover, and refrigerate until ready to serve. Stir together beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and 1 Tbsp rosemary; shape mixture into 12 (2- inch) patties. Cook patties, in batches, in a large skillet over medium-high heat 3 to 4 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Serve patties on slider buns with mayonnaise-cheese mixture, caramelized onions, and arugula
