Beer-BBQ Chicken Skewers are a delicious and flavorful dish, perfect for grilling or baking. The combination of beer in the marinade and the barbecue sauce creates a savory and slightly sweet glaze.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 1 cup beer (pale ale or amber ale)
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water
  • Green onions, chopped for garnish (optional)

Directions

In a bowl, whisk together beer, barbecue sauce, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Thread marinated chicken cubes onto the soaked wooden skewers. Grill the skewers for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is fully cooked and has a nice char.

Garnish with chopped green onions if desired. Serve the beer and BBQ chicken skewers hot.
