This popular Alpine après-ski drink is sure to warm customers on any cold winter day, not just off the slopes.

 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brewed black tea
  • 1 cup spiced rum
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1 cup brandy, schnapps, or any other liqueur on hand
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 2 to 3 whole cloves
  • 1/4 cinnamon stick
  • 2 lemon slices
  • Sugar
     

Directions

Step 1:

Heat the tea, wine, rum, brandy, orange juice, spices, and lemons in a pot. Let it gently simmer for around 5 minutes. Serves 4.

 

Step 2:

Remove from the heat and add a little sugar to taste.
