Infused with cinnamon, clove, and fresh apple, this cozy drink is perfect for chilly evenings. This aromatic beverage pairs beautifully with seasonal treats. Savor the crispness of fall, one sip at a time.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups dry sherry
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 whole cloves
  • 1 orange, zested and juiced
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 apple, thinly sliced
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs, for garnish

Directions

In a saucepan, combine sherry, apple cider, cinnamon stick, cloves, orange zest, orange juice, and maple syrup.

Heat the mixture over medium heat until warm, stirring occasionally; do not let it boil.

Once heated, reduce the heat to low and allow the spices to infuse for about 15 minutes.

Remove from heat and strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove the spices.

Divide the sliced apples among four glasses.

Pour the spiced sherry into each glass over the apples.

Garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs and serve warm or at room temperature.
