A rich and decadent treat made with dessert wine for a unique twist on classic cookies.

 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup dessert wine
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
     

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F.

 

In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.

 

In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugars until fluffy.

 

Beat in the egg and vanilla.

 

Slowly add the dry ingredients and wine, mix until combined.

 

Stir in chocolate chips.

 

Scoop dough onto a baking sheet.

 

Bake for 10-12 minutes.

 

Let cool before serving.
