This captivating pumpkin rum cocktail combines rich pumpkin puree, aromatic spices, and smooth rum. Topped with a cinnamon-sugar rim and a splash of ginger beer, this drink offers a cozy warmth perfect for crisp autumn evenings.

 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 oz dark rum
  • 2 oz vanilla vodka
  • 1 oz maple syrup
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 4 oz ginger beer
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Ice cubes
  • Cinnamon sticks (for garnish)
  • Whipped cream (optional, for garnish)
     

Directions

Mix brown sugar and ground cinnamon to create a cinnamon-sugar blend.

 

Rim two glasses with lemon juice and dip into the cinnamon-sugar mixture, coating the rims thoroughly.

 

In a shaker, combine pumpkin puree, dark rum, vanilla vodka, maple syrup, lemon juice, and pumpkin pie spice.

 

Add ice cubes to the shaker, secure the lid, and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well mixed and chilled.

 

Strain the mixture evenly into the prepared glasses filled with ice.

 

Top each glass with ginger beer and gently stir.

 

Garnish with a cinnamon stick and a dollop of whipped cream if desired.
