Embrace the classic flavors of the season with the Eggnog Rum Flip. This creamy and spiced concoction, featuring the warmth of rum and the richness of eggnog, is a perfect way to toast to the holiday festivities.

 

Ingredients

  • 2 oz dark rum
  • 3/4 oz simple syrup
  • 1 whole egg
  • 3 oz eggnog
  • Nutmeg for garnish
     

Directions

In a cocktail shaker without ice, combine 2 oz dark rum, 3/4 oz simple syrup, 1 whole egg, and 3 oz of eggnog.

 

Shake the ingredients vigorously without ice for about 15 seconds. This helps emulsify the egg for a creamy texture.

 

Add ice to the shaker and shake again for another 15-20 seconds to chill the mixture.

 

Strain the cocktail into a rocks glass or a festive mug.

 

Grate a sprinkle of nutmeg over the top for a seasonal and aromatic garnish.
