Tender grilled chicken marinated in a flavorful rum glaze, perfect for summer BBQs or weeknight dinners. The rum adds a unique depth of flavor that pairs perfectly with the grilled chicken.

 

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup dark rum
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh chopped parsley for garnish

     

Directions

In a bowl, whisk together rum, soy sauce, garlic, honey, lime juice, ginger, salt, and pepper.

 

Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over the chicken. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

 

Preheat grill to medium-high heat and oil the grates to prevent sticking.

 

Grill chicken for 6-7 minutes per side, basting with the marinade during cooking.

 

Remove chicken from grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
