Crisp white wine marries with seasonal fruits like apples and pears, while sparkling cider adds a fizzy twist. Infused with a hint of cinnamon and a splash of orange liqueur.

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle (750 ml) dry white wine (like Pinot Grigio)
  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 1/2 cup orange liqueur
  • 1 medium apple, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium pear, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries (or frozen)
  • 2 sticks cinnamon
  • 1 cup sparkling water (or lemon-lime soda for sweetness)
  • Ice cubes for serving

Directions

In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, apple cider, and orange liqueur.

Add the sliced apple, pear, and cranberries to the pitcher.

Drop in the cinnamon sticks for additional spice.

Gently stir the mixture to combine and let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld.

Just before serving, add ice cubes and pour in the sparkling water for a refreshing fizz.

Garnish individual glasses with extra slices of fruit and a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired.
