A vibrant and fruity concoction that captures the essence of the holiday season. It's perfect for sharing with friends and family around the Christmas table.



  • 1 bottle of red wine
  • 1/4 cup brandy
  • 1/4 cup orange liqueur 
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 1 lime, sliced
  • 1 apple, cored and diced
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 star anise
  • 2 cups club soda or ginger ale, chilled
  • Cranberries and mint leaves for garnish



Wash and slice the orange, lemon, and lime. Core and dice the apple.


Combine Ingredients:


In a large pitcher, combine the red wine, brandy, orange liqueur, and sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves.


Add the sliced fruits, diced apple, cinnamon sticks, and star anise to the pitcher. Stir gently to combine.


Refrigerate the sangria for at least 2 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld.


Just before serving, add chilled club soda or ginger ale to the sangria for a sparkling finish.




Pour the Holiday Sangria into glasses over ice.


Garnish each glass with cranberries and a sprig of mint for a festive touch.
