This tamarind margarita recipe hews closely to a traditional margarita, but with high-quality, flavorful ingredients. That includes silver tequila, caramel-scented agave nectar and triple sec to balance out the sweetness and tartness of the tamarind syrup.
Sprinkle Tajin seasoning on a small plate. Moisten the rim of a large rocks glass with a slice of lime, then dip the glass in the seasoning to fully coat the rim.
Add tequila, tamarind syrup, triple sec, agave and lime juice in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake to combine, about 30 seconds.
