Indulge in these moist blueberry muffins with a kick of liquor for a fun twist on a classic treat. Perfect for a brunch or a special breakfast, these muffins are bursting with juicy blueberries and a hint of boozy goodness.

 

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/4 cup vodka

 

Directions

Preheat oven to 375°F and line a muffin tin with liners.

 

In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

 

In a separate bowl, whisk together melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.

 

Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in blueberries.

 

Fill muffin cups 2/3 full and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

 

Brush the tops of the muffins with blueberry liquor while still warm.

 

Let cool before serving and enjoy!
