Delicious fruit salad with a splash of wine.



  • 4 cups mixed fruits (apples, pears, oranges, pomegranate seeds)
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 4 cloves
  • 1 star anise
  • Orange zest for garnish
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish




In a saucepan, combine red wine, honey, cinnamon stick, cloves, and star anise. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for 10-15 minutes until it forms a syrup. Allow the syrup to cool, then strain to remove spices. In a large bowl, combine mixed winter fruits. Drizzle the mulled wine syrup over the fruits and toss gently to coat. Garnish with orange zest and fresh mint leaves before serving.
