Discover Marlborough Wines

Marlborough is heavily planted with Sauvignon Blanc, but Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are also planted throughout.

About Marlborough

Located at the northern tip of New Zealand's South Island, Marlborough is the epicenter of the country's wine production. The region is sub-divided into two estuary valleys, the Awatere and Wairau. The region has a cool climate with long sunny days in the summer and very cool nights, where stony vineyards absorb the day's heat and help to guard against frost during the cool spring and autumn months. This diurnal range allows the wines to retain acidity while achieving full ripeness.
