Discover Napa Valley Wines

While Cabernet Sauvignon is king, the Napa Valley also notably produces Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah, and Merlot.

About Napa Valley

California's Napa Valley region first received international recognition after the 1976 Judgement of Paris, although the region had already been producing quality wines for nearly 100 years. The Napa Valley AVA (American Viticultural Area) enjoys a warm Mediterranean climate with dry summers and mild winters. With the Vaca Range to the east and Mayacamas separating Napa from Sonoma to the west, the valley receives ample sunshine and experiences a large diurnal shift. Ocean breezes from the San Pablo Bay to the south cool the Carneros sub-appellation.
